Happy Birthday Puppies - 11/09/09

Pickles had the puppies this morning!! 8 beautiful and healthy babies!! Although the first part of labor was long, delivery went pretty smooth. This delivery seemed much easier and faster than her first. Both mom and pups have eaten a lot this morning and are resting trying to get strength back after a very eventful morning. Pickles has already gone through abuot 1.5 containers of cottage cheese mixed with puppy chow! We will be taking them to the vet for a check up later.

(Look familiar? We have a very similar picture of Noodles watching Pickles and the first litter back in January. He was not sure at all what was going on when he woke up. All he knew is he went to bed last night and everything was 'normal' and now there are little things in the kitchen with his Pickles that make a lot of squeaky noises. He is really being good though.)
