2 Weeks Old

Day 11

Noodles and Ares

Day 12

(The puppies barely fit in the little carrier now! You should have seen them when I took them to the vet for their deworming medicine on day 14!!! Big Hunk weighed around 3lbs and Lil' Bow Wow weighed around 2lbs; they are huge!)

Daddy Dog

Well, Shimmy and Polka Dot were the first to open their eyes and then everyone started to follow by day 12 and 13. All the pups all had their eyes open by day 13 and were walking around pretty good, so we had to put the pin up on Day 12. I bought two additional sides and now it's much bigger than last time. Our kitchen is overtaken with puppy stuff now, but it's so much fun. The pin works great and everyone is comfortable!

Day 13
Now that every one's eyes are open, you can really start to see personalities start to develop! Polka Dot is a 'crazy girl' and pretty vocal off and on, Shimmy is a 'crazy sweet heart'. Those two girls are connected at the hip as of now. Two peas in a pod!! Big Hunk is the explorer, love bug and spunky mix! The others are starting to shine too with each day that passes. They all love to kiss you, gnaw on you, bark at you and play with each other! You should hear all the noises they make; so much more vocal than last bunch, ha!

Day 8, 9 and 10

Day 8

Day 9

Day 10

Well, the puppies are doing amazing; growing and getting stronger every day. They are not as vocal as they were a few days ago. They still make the cute puppy sounds, but no more screaming like something is wrong! They have really grown so fast. Just today, Day 10, Polka Dot and Shimmy opened their eyes! The others are not far behind. It is always so precious to look into their eyes for the first time. They have all started to get their little feet under them a lot more too. I think as soon as they all can see, they'll get the hang of walking real fast.
Pickles is doing real well too. She's a wonderful mother.
Noodles seems to be doing better today. He's been so sad that Pickles isn't playing with him. We've tried to give him extra love and attention, but sometimes it doesn't seem to help. Today he seems much better and relaxed though! Soon Pickles will be playing with him again! I'm thinking another week and things will be getting back to 'normal'!
