4 Week Update

The puppies turned 4 weeks yesterday and are up-to-date with their 2nd deworming dose. They are doing great and growing so fast. Each day they get more and more active. They are eating almost completely dry puppy chow now. I still soak it a little with water, but not for very long. They love to eat too ;) They love play time and running around the kitchen and sometimes around the entryway too if they run out before I can catch them! It's getting so hard to take pictures of them unless they are sleeping b/c they are so active. I'm going to take more individual pictures though so you can see what each pup's face looks like.

3 Week Update

Well, today is the pups' 3 week birthday! I can't believe how fast it's going and honestly I'm pretty sad that it is. It's so amazing and fun watching them grow. Their little personalities have really started to blossom this week. They are getting really active and very playful. Out of all the pups, lil' Jewels, the most petite, is the 'toughest' pup in the bunch. She's always walking around tackling the other pups and giving the ol' 'growl' a try! Zeus, the largest, loves to be held for a while before he snuggles in to bed. I've had to get up with him a few nights b/c he just wants to be loved on a little extra. They are all doing great. I haven't taken as many pictures this past week b/c honestly I've just been enjoying playing with them. But I'll try to be better.

At this age, I've found it's just so hard to capture how much fun the pups are through pictures only. Below are some fun clips showing how much they've grown and how active they are! Notice the progression of playing and noises as time goes on!

2 Week Update

The pups got their second check up and 1st deworming dose at 2 weeks. They are all doing wonderful! Their eyes started to open around the 20th, so it's been fun watching them learn to explore as they get stronger.



Now that they are moving around more, I thought it would be fun to attach more video clips so you can see their progress. We are enjoying them so much!

Day 9 - Another Puppy Photo Shoot

8 Day Puppy Pics

The puppies are doing great. Jason and I actually think they look bigger than the other two litters at 8 days. They are moving around like crazy and some of them are actually gaining a lot of strength and lifting up with their front legs. As soon as they open their eyes, we know they'll be off running!

Their noses and feet are turning black and their little ears are starting to get longer. While this litter seems to be 'quieter' than the other two, they do like to yell for no reason at all. This makes for a lot of up and down on our part making sure they are okay, only to find them snuggled up with each other sleeping...
