Weekend at the Farm

Noodles had a little too much fun playing at the tank! You should have seen the two of them running through the woods!

Puppies in their new homes

This past weekend, 7 out of the 8 puppies went to their new homes. It was so hard to see them leave, but we are so happy they all went to such good homes. We are watching the male with the black collar (Cooper) until this weekend. He has been enjoying hanging out with "the big dogs" so much this week. I don't think Pickles and Noodles understand that he is their baby, but rather just a new friend! Cooper is keeping up with them really well! The following are a mixture of pictures of when we had all the puppies with us as well as the three dogs together this past week. This first picture is of the male with the green collar (Huckleberry).

Five and a Half weeks

Poor Pickles; she wants to be with her puppies, but when she is with them she wants to get away ASAP! They mob her and can make her bleed when they try to nurse. So.... we helped her out a little the other night. She enjoyed cleaning them for a while until they started to knock her over... Everyone is happy though!

The puppies can get pretty rough with Noodles, he's not sure what to do with them all at times! It's pretty funny watching him run around in circles trying to get away from them biting him with all 8 following along right behind! He loves it though!

This is them trying to drink out of the water dish all at one time; it doesn't work so well now that they are getting so big.

Tug-a-war


Well, all 8 puppies are sold and are waiting to go to their new homes next weekend. It has been so much fun taking care of them and watching them grow into beautiful, healthy and such fun and playful puppies! I know their new families will be filled with the joy that our two have brought us!
